How to Read Bonus Terms

The banner gives you the pitch. The terms tell you what claiming the offer involves.

Quick answer: before claiming, find out who qualifies, when the offer ends, what wagering applies, which games count, and how withdrawals work. Missing terms are a good reason to pause.

What should I check first?

I start with the basics: who qualifies, when the offer ends, and whether a deposit or another action is required. The word “FREE” on the banner doesn’t answer any of those questions.

Which terms can change the experience?

Next I scan for the wagering requirement, excluded games, maximum bet, expiry, and withdrawal rules. If a clause is hard to follow, I make a note and read it again before going any further.

What if the terms are hard to find?

When I can’t make sense of a condition, I look for a clearer explanation or skip the offer. A banner is there to sell the idea; it isn’t a substitute for the actual terms.

The four things I write down

  1. Confirm that you qualify and know what you need to do.
  2. Write down the expiry date and wagering requirement.
  3. Check which games count and what the withdrawal conditions say.
  4. Save a copy or screenshot of the terms you read. It’s handy if the offer page changes.
One last note: this checklist helps me read an offer; it can’t tell me whether it’s right for you. Check the current terms and follow local rules.

Enter the bonus amount, wagering multiple, and game contribution for a turnover estimate. The result covers those inputs only; check the offer for any other conditions.

Enter the offer terms to estimate the required turnover.

This is a turnover estimate, not a prediction of winnings or the amount you are likely to lose. Offers can include other limits, excluded games, and maximum cash-outs.
